BMVC 2013 - Student Bursaries
There is a limited number of bursaries for student authors to attend BMVC2013. Deadline for applications is 11 August 2013.
The British Machine Vision Association (BMVA) student bursaries offer financial support to research students who are author of a BMVC 2013 paper and who otherwise would struggle to attend the conference. The scheme is open to any student author studying for a PhD qualification, whether in the UK or overseas. Priority will be given to qualifying applicants who are first named authors of highly ranked BMVC2013 papers according to reviewers and also to those who study at UK institutions.
The value of the bursary covers the refund of registration fees to a maximum of 475 GBP, and will be reimbursed by the BMVA directly to the student after BMVC 2013. It is therefore important that any receipts are retained to enable claims to be processed.
Applications are accepted via sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with subject "BMVC2013 Student Bursary". Please include in this email your name, your university, a brief CV and your paper ID at BMVC2013. Please also provide a letter of support from your supervisor as to why no other funding is available.
Successful applicants will be notified via email by 15 August 2013.
